Cost Analysis Specialist – Telecom

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed cost analysis of telecom materials, equipment, and services, including fiber optic cables, towers, antennas, RF components, routers, switches, and installation materials.
• Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure pricing accuracy, cost reasonableness, and alignment with project budgets.
• Prepare cost comparison sheets and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for telecom infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project expenses and ensure compliance with approved budget allocations.
• Review and forecast material usage and cost requirements for ongoing and upcoming telecom projects.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to validate technical specifications and pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternative materials, and optimized designs.
• Maintain an updated database of telecom material prices, labor rates, and market trends.
• Analyze historical cost data to support budgeting, bidding, and financial planning.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
