Product Specialist - Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation and Handling

• Source new leads through research, referrals, and industry channels.
• Manage endorsed leads from internal or external partners.
• Qualify clients by asking probing questions about their current setup, capacity, requirements, timeline, and budget.
• Reach out through email, SMS, and phone.
• Schedule and conduct product presentations or demos, onsite or online.

2. Requirements Gathering and Process Understanding

• Document client workflow, process sequences, and service requirements.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Record specifications such as expected transaction volume and display or system needs.

3. Proposal Management

• Draft detailed proposals including scope, costs, and timelines.
• Secure internal approval as required.
• Send approved proposals to clients and align on target installation timelines.

4. Purchase Order and Invoicing

• Follow up with clients for purchase order release.
• Coordinate with internal teams for invoicing.
• Process initial payments and facilitate supplier coordination.

5. System Configuration and Preparation

• Confirm client requirements for branding, media, and process details.
• Request and prepare necessary equipment.
• Set up hardware and configure according to project needs.

6. Remote Setup and Testing

• Coordinate with technical partners or developers for remote configuration.
• Provide configuration files and client materials as needed.
• Support setup activities and conduct thorough system testing to ensure alignment with client requirements.

7. Pre-Installation Readiness Check

• Notify the client when the system is ready for installation.
• Confirm site readiness:
• Network setup and device connectivity
• Availability of required computers, monitors, and cables
• Proper environment preparation for installation

8. Installation and Handover

• Deliver and install equipment at the client site.
• Configure devices and connect them to the client’s network.
• Validate system operation with the client.
• Secure acknowledgment or delivery receipt upon successful installation.

9. Product Research and Development Support

• Research and source potential new products and technologies the company can offer.
• Provide insights from client needs and market trends to guide product development.
• Collaborate with the team in designing, testing, and improving new solutions.
