Sales Account Executive - Is responsible for managing client accounts, generating sales, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. They act as the main point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring client needs are met while achieving sales targets.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Present and promote company products or services to potential clients
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals

Account Management

  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address concerns or complaints promptly
  • Build long-term partnerships to encourage repeat business

Customer Support & Retention

  • Conduct regular client visits or meetings
  • Upsell or cross-sell products and services when appropriate
  • Ensure proper after-sales service and support.


Job Requirements and Qualifications:


Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field
  • College level with relevant sales experience may be accepted in some companies


Experience Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Experience in B2B sales, corporate accounts, or key account handling is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level roles


Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer service
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of sales processes, pricing, and contracts
  • Familiarity with market trends and competitor activities
  • Knowledge of the company’s products or services
