• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect and respond to suspicious or criminal activity.
• Ensure all cameras are functioning properly and report any technical issues.
• Record and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of events, including time, date, and nature of incidents.
• Operate and control the CCTV equipment and software systems effectively.
• Coordinate with security personnel, law enforcement, or emergency responders when necessary.
• Provide video evidence or reports when requested for investigations or audits.
• Conduct regular system checks and basic troubleshooting or escalate technical problems to IT/security support.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding surveillance, privacy, and data protection.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of surveillance operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in CCTV monitoring, security, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and monitoring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to stay focused during extended periods of monitoring.
• Basic computer literacy (email, Excel, surveillance software).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Must be trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
