The Budget Coordinator will have a critical role in the budget controllership and analysis which will support program Implementers in terms of variance analysis, managing funding gaps and strategic allocation of funds.
The post holder will work closely with the Finance Manager for Strategic Financial Management in the top-level analysis of the master budget and spending gaps to be able to come up with an effective budgeting structure and process.

Must have completed a degree in accounting; having a CPA is an advantage.
At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in the finance department, 3 years of which should be with an international organization or nonprofit/voluntary sector. International experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of grants management, donor compliance, and financial systems and procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software (knowledge of AGRESSO is highly preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling).
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and propose solutions to complex challenges.
Experience managing financial aspects of projects, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Excellent time management, multi-tasking abilities, and attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support team members and collaborate effectively across teamAdaptable and flexible, with a high level of work ethics and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the organization’s operations is an advantage.
Understanding of Save the Children’s vision and mission and a commitment to its objectives; willing to adopt Save the Children methodology and framework in program implementation; abide by and implement Save the Children’s Eight Agency Policies including Child Safety
