ry:The Bookkeeper is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency of financial operations such as managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and conducting bank reconciliatio


ns.
Roles and Responsibilit

ies:• Enter all Accounts Payable (AP) invoices and Accounts Receivable (AR) billings accurately and in a timely man

ner.• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of transacti

ons.• File monthly and annual General Excise Tax (GET) retu

rns.• Assist in payroll tax filing and ensure compliance with regulati

ons.• Post weekly payroll entries and reconcile payroll accou

nts.• Provide weekly cash forecast to support decision-making proces

ses.• Generate weekly Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Job Cost (JC) reports for management rev

iew.• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and ensure consistency with the General Led

ger.• Compare actual costs of jobs-in-progress with estimated costs to track project profitabil

ity.• Reconcile Credit Card Payable accounts and verify accur

acy.• Verify that payroll tax withholdings (Federal, FICA, State) align with accounting software reco

rds.• Calculate monthly and annual General Excise Tax (GE Tax) liability accurat

Required Qualificat

ions:• At least two (2) years of general accounting experi

ence.• Must have a stable employment his

tory.• Proficient in using QuickB

ooks.• Has experience in doing AR, AP, and bank reconcilia

tion.• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication sk

ills.• Proficient in MS Office with the ability to use basic functions such as simple formulas and produce accounting reports in Microsoft E

xcel.• Ability to work with people remo

tely.• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can render OTs when needed especially during the busy se

ason.• Open to receiving feedback from clients and collea

gues.• Excellent attendance re

cord.• Must be willing to report onsite 2-3x a week / Must be willing to go onsite for two weeks daily during trai
