We are looking for an experienced Audit Officer – Tax to ensure the pharmaceutical division’s compliance with tax laws. This role involves conducting internal audits, preparing detailed audit reports, and identifying tax-related risks. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance and accounting teams to verify the accuracy of tax filings and support external audits. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal tax audits with a focus on pharmaceutical industry compliance

• Review financial records and assess tax-related risks

• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations

• Ensure tax filings meet regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry

• Collaborate with accounting teams to correct discrepancies

• Support readiness for BIR and external audits

• Stay updated on local and international tax laws, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector

Qualifications:

• Licensed CPA or Lawyer (Preferred)

• Minimum of 3 years experience in tax audit or financial compliance within the pharmaceutical industry

• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and audit procedures specific to pharmaceuticals

• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
