About the role

This dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager role is perfect for someone with experience in overseeing daily finance operations, specializing in managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the month-end process. The ideal candidate thrives on managing the details while also contributing to strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead key financial processes and collaborateclosely with non-finance stakeholders across the business on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities:

● Oversee Accounts Payable, including reviewing the fortnightly payment run and managing treasury operations.

● Manage weekly employee reimbursements.

● Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee budget execution.

● Review the weekly Accounts Receivable report prepared by the AR specialist

and provide strategic guidance on collections.

● Ensure timely billing by reviewing the weekly draft invoice report.

● Assist with ad-hoc customer queries escalated by the AR specialist.

● Review Month-End and Quarter-End processes, including P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

● Lead a team of three direct reports.

Tooling and Industry Experience:

● Proficiency in ERP and payment processing systems such as Xero and ZIP (or similar).

● Has working experience remotely for an AU/US company is ideal

● Experience in SAAS industry with Stripe is a plus.
