Accounting Assistant is responsible for ensuring compliance with government policies regarding employee welfare and benefits.

• Keeps updated with the related government agencies, i.e. SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig policies and implementing rules and regulations.
• Keeps up-to-date records of on board crew/worker and in-house employees.
• Prepares monthly remittance report and payment of contributions/loans on or before their respective due date for contract workers/in-house employees: SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig (HDMF).
• Uses the system daily to monitor and/or update crew on board with their correct SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig number.
• Participates in PDOS trainings, instructions, tasks and discussions as regards to Mandatory requirements for SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig.
• Monitors and follows up long outstanding claims/loan applications filed to SSS, Philhealth or Pag-ibig and takes necessary course of action to collect them. Whenever necessary, reports issues and concerns to immediate head for speedy and proactive solution.
