• The Accounting Officer oversees daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. Responsibilities include reviewing transactions, authorizing reports, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely tax filings. The role also involves guiding accounting staff, improving workflows, and providing financial insights to support management decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Oversees the daily tasks of all accounting employees, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in their work.

2. Checks and verifies the accuracy of recorded transactions, reports, and financial documents before submission.

3. Make sure all accounting activities adhere to company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

4. Reviews and authorizes financial transactions, vouchers, and reports as required.

5. Communicates financial updates, issues, and recommendations to upper management.

6. Identifies inefficiencies in accounting procedures and suggests improvements for better workflow.

7. Provides support, training, and guidance to accounting personnel to enhance their skills and efficiency.

8. Addresses discrepancies, billing issues, or other financial concerns that arise within the department.

9. Ensures timely submission of reports, tax filings, and payments to avoid penalties and maintain compliance.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or related course
2. Preferably with experience in General Accounting or other Accounting roles.
3. Detail-oriented and has Time Management Skills.
4. Proficiency in using google products.
