  • Financial Record-keeping
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll records.
  2. Record all financial transactions promptly and accurately in the accounting software or ledger.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.


  • Financial Reporting:
  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
  2. Generate financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as required.
  3. Interpret financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.


  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  1. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts by providing financial data and insights.
  2. Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas of concern or opportunities for cost savings.
  3. Collaborate with departments to ensure budget adherence and provide financial guidance as needed.


  • Tax Compliance:
  1. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
  2. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure adherence and minimize tax liabilities.
  3. Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries.


  • Internal Controls and Compliance:
  1. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  2. Conduct periodic reviews of accounting procedures and practices to identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.


  • Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
  1. Perform financial analysis to assess the financial performance of the organization and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  2. Provide support to management in decision-making processes by offering insights, forecasts, and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  3. Assist in special projects, financial modeling, and strategic planning initiatives as needed.


  • Other Responsibilities
  1. Assist the company in payroll processing
  2. Perform other tasks as assigned by Management

Gereklilik

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required. Relevant coursework in business process outsourcing or shared services is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) may enhance qualifications.
  • BPO Experience is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software commonly used in BPO setups and other data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with the industries of clients the BPO serves can be advantageous, allowing accountants to comprehend specific financial requirements better.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, understanding their financial needs, and conveying information clearly to team members.
  • Given the sensitive nature of financial data, an awareness of data security protocols and adherence to confidentiality standards is crucial.
  • Efficient time management skills are crucial in meeting deadlines for client deliverables and ensuring smooth workflow in a high-paced BPO setting.
