About the Role

The Accounting Associate role is open to candidates who are detail-oriented and focused on gaining a deep understanding of financial functions, including supporting financial reporting, tracking expenses, and ensuring alignment with company policies and budgets. You will also assist in audits, handle communications with vendors and internal teams, and provide administrative support to the finance team.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Data Validation: Review and verify financial data entered into accounting software to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
• Accounts Payable: Monitor and review vendor invoices, confirming proper approvals, correct amounts, and timely payments.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Expense Tracking: Review submitted expenses for policy compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation before final processing.
• Support Audits: Assist in gathering and organizing documentation required for internal and external audits.
• Payroll Support: Assist in addressing employee payroll inquiries, coordinating with the payroll team, and ensuring required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Communications: Handle communication with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions and inquiries.
• Record Management: Maintain organized financial records, files, and documentation to support efficient accounting operations and retrieval.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant laws and regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years of accounting-related work experience (Accounts Payable, Payroll & LGU Compliances)
• Experience in preparing and reviewing financial and tax reports.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proven experience with accounting and payroll software.
