Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, mid-level accountant to support our growing bookkeeping and accounting services firm. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to prepare accurate financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations
• Perform trend analysis and financial performance reviews
• Manage bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online
• Assist with tax preparation and documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Generate financial reports for management review
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Experience with Drake tax software a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ability to be on Zoom during entire work shift
