About the role

As an Accountant at Pocket Rocket Advertising Inc., you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our dynamic agency. You will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, from financial and management reporting and analysis to ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This full-time position is based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare financial and management reports (a must)
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, invoices, and receipts
• Ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded
• Ensuring that event funds are liquidated accurately
• Prepare and submit all needed reports for BIR Reportin,g such as Payroll Report, Income Report, Expense, etc
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing valuable insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations
• Support the year-end close process, including the preparation of schedules and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and analysis as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• With 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the advertising or professional services industry
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and reliable financial information
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information
• Familiarity with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven track record of contributing to the success of a growing organization
