Position purpose.
Reporting to the Country Manager, this role will oversee and drive the success of a category, business line, or larger business unit within LUXASIA. This strategic leadership role carries full accountability for key business outcomes, including revenue growth, profitability, and brand excellence. The Business Manager will lead a high-performing team, develop impactful strategies, and manage key stakeholders to ensure sustainable business success.
Key Responsibilities.
- Business Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve financial and market objectives for the assigned category or business line
- Set and monitor overall sales, profitability, and operational targets, ensuring alignment with LUXASIA's business goals
- Lead annual budget planning, including revenue forecasting, cost management, and investment strategies
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, consumer insights research, and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities
- Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Oversee the execution of marketing, sales, and distribution strategies to maximize category performance
- Ensure optimal product availability, pricing strategy, and inventory management in collaboration with supply chain teams
- Track and evaluate key business metrics, analyzing sales performance, customer trends, and operational efficiency
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and retail teams to deliver seamless execution and enhance brand equity
- Stakeholder & Principal Management
- Act as the key liaison with brand principals, ensuring alignment on business objectives, marketing initiatives, and overall brand positioning
- Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local and regional leadership teams, business partners, and regulatory agencies
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, ensuring sustainable partnerships that drive long-term growth
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a results-driven and collaborative culture
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members while providing ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities
- Ensure strong communication and collaboration across departments to drive efficiency and innovation
- Financial & Business Performance Management
- Oversee P&L management, ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the category or business line
- Implement financial strategies to optimize cost efficiency and maximize ROI on marketing and commercial activities
- Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities for growth

Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in brand, category, or business management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the beauty, luxury, or retail industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus
- Proven track record in P&L management, strategic planning, and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
