• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Oversee project accounting and cost control specific to construction and real estate developments
• Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes related to ongoing projects
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit issues
• Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls tailored to the construction and real estate sector
• Manage a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance and development opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate financial tracking of projects
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry regulations and accounting best practices
  
  
  

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in real estate, construction, or engineering companies
• Strong understanding of construction project accounting, real estate development costs, and related accounting processes
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to lead and develop a team
