Job Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations for a growing portfolio of restaurants. This key role involves optimizing procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The Supply Chain Manager will work cross-functionally with various departments to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support the company's expansion strategy.

Your Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management

  • Manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and distribution.
  • Ensure that materials and products are delivered in a timely, cost-effective manner to meet restaurant operations.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure competitive pricing and on-time deliveries.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages, optimizing turnover and storage costs.
  • Maintain a consistent flow of supplies to support restaurant operations.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Supervise the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-efficient distribution to all locations.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to improve delivery timelines and cost efficiency.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with sales, production, and restaurant teams to forecast demand and develop procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Use data analytics and forecasting tools to predict demand and adjust supply plans as needed.

Process Optimization

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure sustainability.
  • Implement best practices and new solutions to optimize supply chain operations.

Risk Management

  • Assess and mitigate risks within the supply chain by developing contingency plans for potential disruptions, including supplier delays and logistics challenges.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure all products meet required quality standards and comply with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze supply chain performance data and track KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, manage, and develop the supply chain team, ensuring a collaborative, results-driven culture.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members.

What Our Client Is Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

8 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally in the foodservice or retail industry.

Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Proficient in supply chain management software

Solid understanding of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution.

Experience with demand forecasting and supplier management.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Leadership Abilities With Experience Working Cross-functionally.
