About the Job

As a Supply Chain Assistant Manager for Menarini, you will be responsible in ensuring availability of products to support sales requirements and marketing programs while maintaining inventories within stock holding policies and net working capital target.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning

  • Coordinates with key stakeholders on the timely updating of sales forecasts, and introduction of new products, launch timelines, and initial stocking required.

  • Assists in organizing and driving the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting.  Collates and prepares the necessary data and reports for updating the S&OP deck; attends the S&OP Meeting and provides inputs on issues concerning his/her assigned brands.

Replenishment/ Supply Planning

  • Updates the Inventory & PO Plan templates using latest forecast, saleable inventory on hand, and planned orders/incoming shipments.

  • Prepares and communicates approved PO’s within agreed lead times and in accordance with approval matrix.

  • Coordinates with distributor and Sales on product supply related to servicing of customer sales orders, provides reasons for insufficient stocks.

  • Reviews inventory levels at various warehouses nationwide, coordinates branch transfers and monitors stocks in transit.

Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Coordinates with suppliers as soon as stocks are ready for shipment, for correctness and completeness of documents vs Purchase Order.

  • Ensures proper handling and quality of goods is preserved by logistics provider from arrival through to storage and delivery to trade outlets.

  • Monitors corresponding release of stocks, deliveries and costs.

  • Collaborates for production and delivery schedules including materials deliveries. Ensures accuracy of bill of materials, replenishes materials supply as provided in the contract.

  • Negotiates for the best price to ensure costs of goods manufactured are within the budget.

Internal Control & Reporting

  • Prepares, improves and updates the policy and procedures of the department to ensure continuous productivity improvement and in compliance with ISO standards.

  • Responsible in leading the efforts of ensuring compliance to company policy, adherence to processes and established management systems and standards.

  • Prepares and sends out management reports and other reports required. Ensures all reports are prepared accurately, timely and filed systematically.

Qualifications

  • College graduate preferably BS Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Accountancy

  • 5 - 8 years progressive work experience in Supply Chain roles

  • Knowledge in ERP/MRP systems an advantage

  • Technical knowledge on Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Planning and Management, Warehouse Management, Importation/ Customs Processes, Transport/Delivery Management

  • Financial literacy
