Responsible for the General Accounting function including the closing, reconciling, analysis, and reporting of the general ledger.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinates the monthly, quarterly and annual period closing. Oversees and ensures timely and accurate posting of journal entries.
• Maintains subsidiary ledgers
• Completes periodic balance sheet account review and reconciliations.
• Manages accounting system administration, cost center and GL account master data maintenance, customer and vendor master data maintenance, invoicing, accruals and restatements.
• Provides guidance and training to less experienced accountants in the department.

Qualifications:

• Requires a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 4 years of experience in a General Accounting function in a multinational company
• Prior experience involving the application of statutory accounting principles and developing, testing, implementing, and reconciling automated systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
• CPA or MBA preferred.
