Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with hands-on experience in Katalon Studio to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, maintaining test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and log defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform API testing and validation using tools like Postman or within Katalon Studio.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify automation opportunities and contribute to test automation best practices and frameworks.
• Support UAT and production releases through smoke testing and validation.
• Prepare and deliver test reports and metrics to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with 2+ years in Katalon Studio.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Groovy or Java used in Katalon.
• Experience in API/Web Services testing (REST/SOAP).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or ALM Octane.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good understanding of test reporting and metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domain.
• Knowledge of Postman, SQL, and basic database validation.
• Experience working with cloud-based environments like AWS or Azure.
