Angat Buhay Foundation is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Program Officer for Nutrition, Food Security, and Universal Healthcare.

The Program Officer will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Foundation’s initiatives on Nutrition, Mental Health, and Universal Healthcare. This position focuses on developing and strengthening systems that enhance access to basic health services and improve the nutritional status of children, particularly in marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management: Lead the implementation of Angat Buhay’s Nutrition, Food Security, and Universal Healthcare Programs, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s strategic objectives.

Community Engagement and Partnership Development: Collaborate with local stakeholders, partners, and community leaders to ensure effective and sustainable program delivery.

Program Design and Grant Development: Formulate evidence-based program strategies and develop grant proposals to secure funding for program expansion and sustainability.

Program Operationalization, Monitoring, and Evaluation: Ensure the effective operationalization of programs through the establishment of monitoring and evaluation systems to track progress and impact.

Documentation and Knowledge Management: Prepare comprehensive reports, case studies, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that knowledge and best practices are systematically captured and shared.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.

- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in program management, with demonstrated exposure to fieldwork in community-based health, nutrition, or mental health programs.

- Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, policies, and practices related to universal healthcare, mental health programs, and/or nutrition interventions.

- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated commitment to advancing health equity and improving conditions in marginalized communities.
