About the role

Metro Container Corporation is looking for a skilled Offset Printing Operator to join our dynamic team in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our printing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality printed materials that meet our clients' exacting standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Operating and maintaining offset printing machines to produce a variety of printed tinplate materials and tinplate packaging
2. Preparing and setting up printing equipment, such as plates, inks, to ensure efficient and accurate printing
3. Monitoring and adjusting printing parameters to maintain consistent print quality and colour accuracy
4. Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to prevent downtime
5. Collaborating with the design and pre-press teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules
6. Maintaining detailed production records and reporting on any issues or concerns

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Offset Printing Operator or in a similar role within the printing and publishing industry
2. Strong technical skills in offset printing, including knowledge of printing processes, machinery, and materials
3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality printed output
4. Good colour vision and the ability to maintain consistent colour matching and reproduction
5. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and address any printing-related issues
6. Ability to work well in a team and follow standard operating procedures
