The Head of Business Development for Summit Outdoor Media is responsible for managing existing inventory and expanding and driving growth for the business which includes Site Acquisition and Permits, Project Construction and establishing partnerships.


Functions and Responsibilities:


Business Planning and Profitability Analysis

  • Develop comprehensive business plans for new and existing projects, ensuring each plan addresses:
  • Revenue potential.
  • Profitability metrics.
  • Cost-benefit analysis.
  • Create detailed financial models to forecast revenue per project, taking into account its impact on existing products, services, and inventory.
  • Perform break-even analyses and ROI evaluations to guide decision-making for new initiatives.

Revenue Forecasting and Impact Analysis

  • Build and maintain revenue forecasts for all projects, including scenario planning to anticipate risks and opportunities.
  • Assess the impact of new projects on existing inventory and services, identifying potential synergies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and inform future adjustments.

Market and Competitive Analysis

  • Benchmark the company's pricing, inventory, and services against key competitors based on competitive and market data collected by the team.
  • Identify gaps in the market and propose new product or package offerings that leverage OOH, digital, and retail media inventory.
  • Analyze emerging trends in Retail Media Networks and OOH advertising to identify opportunities for innovation.

Strategy Development and Execution

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to design strategies and packages that align with our pricing, inventory, and market positioning.
  • Recommend product packages and pricing strategies based on demand trends, inventory availability, and competitive landscape.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to create go-to-market strategies for new products and services.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in business planning, financial modeling, revenue forecasting, or similar roles.
  • Proven track record in profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI evaluations.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in conducting break-even analyses, scenario modeling, and impact assessments.
  • Experience conducting competitive benchmarking and market analysis, preferably within media, retail media networks, digital, or out-of-home (OOH) advertising industries.
  • Ability to identify market gaps, consumer needs, and propose innovative products or service offerings.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in retail media, digital, and OOH advertising.
