Our growing retail company is looking to appoint a talented Graphic Designer/ Brand Assistant in supporting the development and maintenance of the company and its brands' identities through creative design solutions and brand management activities. This position involves creating visually compelling assets while ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all touchpoints.

Graphic Designer/ Brand Assistant Responsibilities:

• Develop visually engaging designs for various marketing materials, including digital and print assets such as social media graphics, email newsletters, brochures, packaging, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that effectively communicate brand messages and values.
• Design and implement planograms and brand displays in stores, events and other activities.
• Ensure all design work aligns with brand standards and guidelines, maintaining consistency in brand identity across all platforms.
• Assist in the development and implementation of brand strategies to strengthen brand positioning and awareness in the market.
• Support the creation and maintenance of brand assets, including logos, style guides, and brand templates.
• Coordinate with third party suppliers with regards to collaterals creation, i.e., printers, contractors. Quality control is a must.
• Monitor brand presence and perception across different channels, providing insights and recommendations for brand enhancement.
• Assist in conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify brand opportunities and threats.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including organizing brand materials, maintaining asset libraries, and managing project timelines.

Graphic Designer/ Brand Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications or a related field is an added bonus.
• Strong Graphic Design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup or other graphic design software tools.
• Conceptualize and design visual assets such as logos, marketing materials, social media graphics, and website content.
• Experience in Image Editing and Designing of visual content for different channels such as web, print, and social media.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to produce high-quality designs that align with brand guidelines.
• Present design concepts and ideas, and incorporate feedback to produce the final design.
• Ensure that all graphics adhere to the company's standards and are delivered on time.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve design output.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be creative, flexible, agile and detail-orientated.
