  • A Unit Manager in insurance oversees a team of insurance agents or representatives, manages operations within their unit, and ensures the achievement of sales targets and operational goals. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on both sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise insurance agents or representatives. Provide ongoing support and motivation to ensure high performance.
  • Sales Performance: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve sales results.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations within the unit, including adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues, resolving complaints, and ensuring agents provide excellent service.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on team performance, sales results, and operational issues to higher management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
