The Cashier Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages, handling cash and electronic payments, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. This role requires multitasking between bartending and cashiering functions, ensuring smooth bar operations and customer satisfaction.

Bartending Duties:

• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all bar menu items and ingredients.
• Check customers’ identification to ensure legal drinking age.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and equipment.
• Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations.

Cashier Duties:

• Greet customers and process drink/food orders efficiently.
• Accurately handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments using POS systems.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed.
• Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist in tracking sales and inventory as required.

Customer Service:

• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests at all times.
• Resolve customer complaints or escalate to a supervisor when necessary.
• Promote current specials or featured menu items.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep role is an advantage but not required.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
