Role Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Animator / Motion Graphics Designer to help bring our mobile apps to life through purposeful animation.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates, self-taught creatives, or early-career animators seeking real production experience and long-term growth within a product-driven environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers and designers to create animations that make our apps feel responsive, polished, and enjoyable.

This is a long-term contract role with no fixed end date. Continuation is based on performance and team needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D animations for mobile UI elements such as buttons, transitions, and loading states.
• Design splash screens, celebration animations, and visual effects (particles, glows, confetti).
• Animate simple avatars or characters when needed.
• Turn ideas and references into clean, polished animations.
• Work with developers to ensure animations run smoothly inside the app.
• Revise work based on feedback.
• Help maintain a consistent animation style across the product.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Basic understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, follow-through)
• Foundational skills in animation, motion graphics, or graphic design
• Experience using any animation software
• Clear communication for remote collaboration
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines

Common tools include (but not limited to):

• Adobe After Effects, Rive, Lottie / Bodymovin
• Spine, Blender, Cinema 4D
• Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, Moho
• Figma (for motion prototypes), SVG or vector-based animation tools

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to UI animation or micro-interactions
• Basic compositing or visual effects skills
• Experience preparing animations for mobile apps
• Portfolio, demo reel, or sample work (school and personal projects count)

Education & Experience

• Fresh graduates, self-taught creatives, and early-career animators are encouraged to apply
• Degree in Animation, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field OR strong portfolio demonstrating skills OR self-taught experience with work you’re proud to show
• No formal degree required if skills and portfolio are strong

Work Setup

• Employment Type: Contract
• Schedule: Full-Time (aligned with Philippine Time Zone)
• Location: Fully Remote
• Duration: Open-ended
• Compensation: ₱20,000 – ₱27,000/month (based on skills, experience, and portfolio quality)
