As we scale our ecosystem, we’re looking for an experienced Trader Specialist who understands both market mechanics and on-chain intelligence, capable of operating in fast-paced, data-driven crypto environments.

Your Mission

As a Trader Specialist, you’ll manage and execute trading strategies across multiple CEXs and DEXs, contribute to treasury optimization, and ensure efficient risk-adjusted performance.

You’ll work closely with our risk and analytics teams to build trading frameworks that align with Gopher’s token economy and treasury strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Execute and optimize spot and derivative trades across major exchanges (CEX & DEX).
• Monitor market liquidity, slippage, volatility, and arbitrage opportunities.
• Support treasury management by balancing stablecoin and token exposures.
• Leverage on-chain data, bots, and dashboards for real-time trade decisions.
• Develop and backtest systematic and algorithmic strategies using market data.
• Collaborate with internal quant, risk, and data teams to refine trading systems.
• Report daily/weekly trading metrics and PnL performance.

You’re a Great Fit If You

• Have 3+ years experience in crypto trading, quant, or market-making roles.
• Are comfortable using CEX APIs (Binance, OKX, Coinbase) and on-chain tools (Dune, Nansen, DefiLlama).
• Understand liquidity depth, funding rates, impermanent loss, and DEX mechanics.
• Have hands-on experience with DeFi protocols, LP positions, and yield strategies.
• Are data-driven and analytical — you think in probabilities, not emotions.
• Stay calm during high volatility and know how to navigate uncertain markets.
• (Bonus) Have coded or backtested in Python, Rust, or Solidity — or have built bots for execution/monitoring.
