We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our remote team. You will play a key role in turning financial data into clear insights, especially for our retail and e-commerce business. This position is best suited for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance metrics.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across all business functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.).
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business initiatives, product launches, and investments.
• Analyze gross margin, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operating expenses to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Help improve financial processes, tools, and reporting systems as the organization scales.
• Use NetSuite and business intelligence tools (such as Omni BI) to extract, reconcile, and verify financial data.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Accounting, Operations, and other teams to ensure alignment on financial data and business drivers.
• Communicate financial insights clearly to both finance leadership and non-finance stakeholders, translating data into actionable stories.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, FP&A Analyst, or a similar finance role, ideally within the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce business models (Amazon experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with high proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and business intelligence/reporting tools (Omni BI or similar preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance team members.
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote setting, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive, collaborative, and curious—enjoys digging into numbers and improving processes.
