- Semak dan analisis rekod perubatan untuk memastikan pengekodan diagnosis dan prosedur yang tepat.
- Menetapkan kod yang sesuai untuk perkhidmatan pesakit dalam dan pesakit luar menggunakan sistem pengekodan semasa.
- Memastikan pematuhan kepada peraturan dan garis panduan pengebilan dan pengekodan.
- Bekerjasama dengan profesional kesihatan untuk menjelaskan diagnosis dan pelan rawatan.
- Sentiasa mengemaskini pengetahuan pengekodan bagi menepati piawaian industri terkini.
Keperluan
- Kelayakan Pendidikan: Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam Pengurusan Maklumat Kesihatan atau bidang berkaitan
- Tahap Pengalaman: 1–3 tahun pengalaman dalam pengekodan perubatan
- Kemahiran dan Kompetensi: Pemahaman mendalam terhadap terminologi perubatan dan sistem pengekodan termasuk ED, EM, OP, pengekodan pesakit dalam dan pengekodan pesakit luar
- Sifat dan Ciri-ciri: Teliti dengan kemahiran analisis yang tinggi
- Kemahiran dan Kompetensi: Pensijilan CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) diutamakan
- Kemahiran dan Kompetensi: Kemahiran dalam penggunaan perisian dan pangkalan data pengekodan
