New Barbizon Fashion, Inc., after being incorporated in 1997, began a successful run of operations by bringing to the female market high quality and fashionable intimate apparel, swimwear, lingerie, sleepwear, and activewear.Three top brands that fall under the NBFI corporate umbrella are Barbizon, Mona Lisa, and Sassa.As the company expanded over the years, NBFI also ventured into selling non-branded brassieres and panties which were sold in selected department stores around the country. Swimwear lines such as Angelfish, a resort and swimwear brand exclusively to Robinsons Department Stores, Island Haze, an Australian surf and resort wear line for men and Swimlab, a high-fashion ladies’ swimwear line exclusive only at SM Department Stores are also added. Recently Danskin, a US brand for active and dancewear became part of its expansion. As well as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and DC that caters to kids’ swimwear and undergarments. Adding to its esteemed line-up of brands are Barbie, Hello Kitty and Rock Lobster swimwear for kids.Ever-growing, the company is not putting a cap on how many brands it brings and explore other markets in the future.With over 300 outlets from one end of the country to another; NBFI distributes its brands nationwide.
